“Anxiety seems to be just hardwired in all human behavior,” says Glenn McCracken, a licensed counselor with Arkansas Wellness Professionals. “Coloring allows the individual to focus on one particular thing, which alleviates the distraction they have in all areas of their life. I think people have enough instruction in their life and they need to do something freeing.”
