Shoes + Socks

Lace up those sneaks and get going! You need a great, solid pair of shoes if you’re going to be on your feet. Buy a pair specifically for the activity you’ll be doing: if you’re a walker, buy walking tennis shoes. If you’re a runner, get ones specifically made for runners, and so on. For added comfort and support, invest in running socks. You’ll be amazed by the difference they make!

Phone + Earbuds

It’s the age of technology, so don’t leave on a run without your phone. Obviously, you won’t check Facebook while you’re supposed to be running (right?), but you should listen to a killer workout playlist on Spotify. Your average pair of headphones won’t be ideal for running, so spring for some in-ear or open-back headphones. Get an armband for your phone so you don’t have to carry it the whole time.
