Crock Pot Turkey Chili from Alex Howland

Crock Pot Turkey Chili from Alex Howland
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. ground lean Turkey
- 1 green pepper
- 2 jalapenos
- 1 onion, medium to small and yellow or white
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes (opt for low or no sodium)
- 1 can diced green chiles
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- salt, pepper and oregano to taste
- 1-2 garlic cloves (or garlic powder, if you prefer)
- plain Greek yogurt for garnish
- shredded cheddar for garnish
Directions:
- Chop green pepper, seeded jalapenos and onion and add to crock pot.
- Rinse black beans and pinto beans, then add to the crock pot.
- Add diced tomatoes and green chilli to the crock pot, then add spices.
- Brown the turkey and add to crock pot.
- Set your crockpot on high for 3-4 hours and enjoy!
