Located behind Heifer Village in downtown Little Rock just a few blocks from the River Market, this new, explorable barnyard features pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens and turkeys — all animals the nonprofit Heifer International helps provide families through its work in developing countries around the world from its headquarters in Arkansas’ capital city.
The 3-acre urban farm hosts various free activities like workshops on gardening and animals, and is also home to a community garden, beehives and butterfly garden that are all open to the public.
